Huge Fire Burns at Universal Studios Backlot A back lot at Universal Studios in Universal City, Calif. is the scene of a three-alarm fire. Los Angeles fire Capt. Frank Reynoso said the blaze was reported just before dawn on Sunday. Some media reports say the fire started at 4:44 a.m. local time.
